What Next for E17: Community Workshop on Impact of EU exit - 30 June

In her 'working for walthamstow' newsletter following the referendum Stella Creasy MP writes:

On Thursday 30th June at 7pm I will be holding a special public meeting for Walthamstow residents regarding the consequences of the EU referendum vote.

Already many residents have been in touch with me to express their concerns and questions about the impact of the EU referendum vote on both themselves and their family and friends in Walthamstow. This public meeting will be a community planning exercise to determine how together we address the many issues- from possible rises in personal debt, the challenges facing local businesses and increases in interest rates and the costs of living. So too we will explore how we can begin the process of addressing the concerns many have about the social and community consequences of this vote.

This event is your opportunity to be part of the practical planning considerations for businesses, campaigners and residents alike of Walthamstow on the impact of the vote to leave the European Union. All Walthamstow residents are welcome- whether they voted to remain or leave, or if they were able to vote or not- and we will be inviting guest experts to assist in this process.

This event is free and to help us with the logistics for this event please email to confirm your interest in attendance with your postal address in Walthamstow.
